I'm backkkkkkkkkkkk

Well, it's my first post of the new year... pathetic. There has been so much going on that I'm not sure where to start, so I'll just jump in and hope I cover it all.

I got carted in to the hospital a couple of days before Thanksgiving, pretty much a moaning, sobbing mess wrapped in my pajamas and a coat. I was babbling on according to Craig and not making much sense other than getting the point across that I was in intense pain. The docs loaded me up with Dilauded and Morphine along with phenergen and though it knocked the edge off, it didn't help much. The docs were mostly alarmed when it didn't even make me the least bit sleepy, telling my husband that they'd given me enough medicine to knock out an entire platoon of soldiers. That stint in the hospital lasted about 10 days, I think.

Then I was home for about a week only to end up right back where I started. After days and days of tests, lumbar punctures, MRI's, CT's, blood work... you name it, they finally found a suspicious "spot" on my MRI. I have to wait 4 more months for them to re-MRI and see if it grows or brings friends. My headaches have let up quite a bit with the meds that I'm on, but I'm having a bitch of one today that I can't shake.

The last two months have been tenuous at best and without the support of my husband and kids, I don't know what I would have done. Of course, Jamie has lent her undying support and has been there when I needed her every time. I don't call her as often as I should but I find myself sleeping through most of the days and before I know it the day is over. I've also been saddled with some sort of flu the last two weeks and am finally shaking that. We've been passing it between the five of us back and forth and I'm hoping it's done.

We had our family pictures taken yesterday with one of the photographers who works for Craig. He does GREAT work and I can't wait to get the pictures from him. I got the proofs today and I am blown away by Ryan and Austin's pictures. He took some of them that makes them both look like models. Craig sent me the proofs today in a pdf file but I can't unlock it to extract a picture or two, but when Craig gets home I'll see if he can and then I'll post some. I'm not kidding you... they're great, even before the touchups.

Alright, I gotta get running. I've got doctors appointments out the wazzooooooo these days. ciao kdgr

I know it's a shock that I'm even here, but there is so much to tell that I'll have to tell it all it short stores. This sirst one involves my kids that I have to brag on;. Frist there's Ryan. She's leading the district in scoring points, She has the least number of turnovers, She's second highest on assists and she shot 90% from the field last night and 66% from the line. She was awesomes. She played very aggressive and only evded up getting two fouls called on her.

My "Adopted" son, DeMarcus, is on a track scholarship at Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma. He was at a track meet today high jumping and ended up winning the event even though he was only a freshman and the rest of the competitors were all upper classmen, yet none of them cleared 7 ft. Demarcus cleared 7 ft 1/2/ inch, breaking a school record and getting himself inviting to the US Track and Field Nationals! GO D!!!!!!!!!DemRY.jpg
Here they are together last spring... almost a year ago. I've got some from Christmas this year when they both fell asleep on the couch Chrismtas might. Sooooooooooooo cute!!! Aren't they?
De and Ryan asleep Xmas Eve.jpg

Anyway, I'm quite proud of him today. Actually, it's every day but tiday I can see/hear the pride he has in himself and that feels my hear with joy. I gotta take my sick but to bed, but I'm happy!!!!!! Night Night! kdgr
