Here is some more of the stuff I've scanned in from the box of pictures and newspaper articles of my grandfather's that he kept regarding my dad.
This is my mother's senior picture. She hates it. I think she's beautiful in it! She'd kill me if she knew I'd put it on here.
And here is my dad's senior picture. In case you're wondering... I look like my dad. (want proof? Look at the bottom of this post!) My brother and sister got all of my mom's genes and I got stuck with his! Oh well, I'd rather be my ugly self and have him for my dad than anybody else. I'm a true daddy's girl!

When I asked him about this article the other day he told me that it's total bullshit. He was pissed off and was furious at the doctor for not letting him tape it up and fight. What he didn't know at the time (actually, until two days later) was that his thumb was not only broken, it was crushed in places and the joint totally disentegrated. He still has trouble with it. I can remember watching him wince at times when I was a kid and he'd do something as simple as just pick something up. It was bad.
Ummm yes, this is my brother (we were probably 6 and 2 or so here). Do you notice who he DOES and DOES NOT look like? It's bs, I tell ya. I couldn't even get my mother's long eyelashes. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, but they both do! (reminding myself just how awesome my dad is! LOL)
Now I gotta get back to work. =(
