July Fourth Fifth?
Well, I'm pretty sure that my night wasn't supposed to go this way, but I'm not complaining.
Obviously, Craig was off work yesterday for the holiday so we went to the driving range because I gave him my word I'd be able to play golf in a year. (yeah, I see that happening!) There's a story there, but not for today.
Anyway, we hit a bunch of balls (heh) and then headed home to just hang out and do absolutely nothing. We ended up spending the whole day just talking and laughing, then we'd find stupid quizzes on the net and see who'd score better than the other, then we'd be back to just talking. We ended up realizing that it was about 3am and we both had places we had to be fairly early this morning so we knew we'd never wake up if we went to bed so we just kept right on talking.
It might sound strange but this isn't call that uncommon for Craig and I. Sometimes we start talking and it just never ends... I mean that in a good way. Our conversations can go all over the map from the ultra conservative to the downright dirty. Sometimes we just talk about "what ifs" or "if I had ten million dollars I'd...." kind of talks. Sometimes its about our pasts, our exes, our dreams, our most embarassing moments... you name it, we've probably talked in depth about it. In fact, the last time this happened was about two weeks ago... maybe three.
Craig left for the golf course about 30 minutes ago and I'm about to head up to Denton to go open a bank account for Ryan (linked to our account) at the WF on campus. It makes it much easier if we can just transfer funds online to her account from ours. Plus, I've got to take a truckload of crap up there. And I'm doing it in Craig's car to save gas. Ughhh. I love my truck, and I normally don't mind wasting the gas but I guess I'll try to be a responsible adult one or two days a month. (It'll never work, no matter how hard I try!)
After we get back (around noon) I'm guessing a nap will be in order then, who knows? Nothin' on the agenda, just the way we like it. Ryan starts classes Monday so that ought to be interesting. Austin is loving his job and doing great at it. Seriously, he loves it! Kyra is having a ball in SoCal and is using the hell out of her cell phone. That totally cracks me up and I have no clue why. Probably because she texts sooooooooooooooooooo s l o w. Good Lord, dead people text faster and even she gets tickled at her efforts to speed up. Hey, we're just really loving seeing and hearing how happy she has been the last few months. Really just a bright spot for us!
Have a good holiday!
