This Makes My Day
I received an email yesterday from Ryan's coach, one today from her Gov't teacher and one this morning from the mother of a student in Ryan's class. This is regarding Ryan's special relationship with this boy in her class who is austistic. I've taken out the identifying information but the emails make me feel so proud. This is far better than any gold medal she might win!
This first one is from the teacher telling me about the email from Brian's mom...
Kristi, I wanted you to see what BG said about Ryan. We all know how talented and beautiful she is. She also has a heart of gold. This made me cry and I am so proud to know her. We all can learn so much from her. I hope it is ok that I shared this with Mr. Crosby and Coach Arnold. You have raised a wonderful young woman. She must have had a great example in her mother.

Subject: Re: Events
There have been so many times the past few years when I wasn't sure if this event would happen for Brian. He never passed all of the TAKS until his Junior year (when it matter the most), and he has struggled in some subjects. But, he keep going forward, and he was blessed with some outstanding teachers (very thankful for you), and he IS graduating from high school and will begin College classes in the fall at Hill College. I am so proud of Brian. I assume he will be sitting next to the people who are listed next to his name on the t-shirt. That would be great. Ryan Green has always been so nice to Brian, and I could not think of anyone else that would be better for him to sit by. She never failed to say hi to Brian, even when we were at a movie. She was with a group of friends, but she took the time to stop and say hello to Brian.
Thank you are words that do not seem enough for all the support and encouragement you have given to Brian this year. He loves your class, and he looks forward to each A day.
I appreciate you,
B G

It is always wonderful to hear what our children do away from home and with reports like that it makes you wonder why they can't be that way at home LOL or at least it does for me. However, we all do so love Ryan!!!

It's so nice to know that your children are "good" people.
