KG's Hideaway

hmmm, not sure what to make of this but I suspect its not good. Ryan is down at Baylor University in Waco today for a Regional Qualifier meet. (I don't know why they call them that since she's already qualified for regionals) We decided not to go because there's just too much crap going on today and I didn't want to drive an hour and a half each way for an event that takes 45 minutes. Lazy, I know.

Anyway, Ryan called when Craig and I were on our way home from the movies (more on that in a minute) saying that not only did she NOT win or even place, she couldn't clear 5ft. WTF? Ryan and her coach had changed up the steps in her approach on Tuesday so I'm really hoping that's all it is, but if not... well, we won't have to worry about going to state. (To be honest, that won't break my heart or hers at this point) She should be back any minute.

Craig took me to see 88 Minutes today and it was SOOOOO good! P@cino rocks. I can't get enough of the Movie T@vern! They bring your margarita right to your table during the movie, and that's pretty f'ing awesome if you ask me. The food isn't bad, either.

More on the blood clot in my arm: My doctor had given me a prescription diruetic at my last appointment because fluid is collecting in my feet and legs and causing alot of pain. They think its just from the steriods... not sure if I believe that, but ok. Anyway, I didn't want to start taking the L@six until after my surgery because I didn't want to have to get up every 20minutes to pee until about a week or so after my surgery. Then, I found the blood clot in my arm so I didn't daaaaaaaaaaaaaaare take it. Yesterday I noticed my right wrist had a very tender spot that felt just like the left one did when that first clot showed up. Sure as shit, there's another one. Great. I'm not missing my damn trip to Tahoe next week. They will just have to do something to work around it. If they want me in the hospital, it'll have to be before or afterwards cuz I really need this trip... and an In-N-Out burger (bring on the Double Double!!!)

So tomorrow is just a house cleaning day unless we get a call for Ryan to go play basketball. That may not pan out so I'm sort of looking forward to staying home. Yay!
