They Were Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat Close!
We went to catch the Aledo/Dunbar basketball game tonight. Aledo is in our district so we were cheering for them (plus, Ryan's best friend Taylor plays for them) because everyone wants to see Dunbar knocked off. They've won two of the last three state championships and their star player has T.A.L.E.N.T. if you know what I mean. But this girl has the shittiest attitude and the nastiest mouth I've ever heard. Most of the time she only stays on one end of the court as if she can't be bothered to defend on a fast break. But this girl has been able to DUNK since 8th grade.
Aledo had them BEAT until about 3 minutes left in the game. Damnit! So Dunbar ended up with the win and we will have to play them on Saturday to move on IF we win our game on Friday.
