My Funny Painful Valentine
Craig left the house at 5am today to fly to North Carolina for anouther round of meetings regarding a CV$ out there that they're having a tough time getting through the planning committee. I feel so bad for him because he's put in SO many hours and only getting between 2-4 hours the last four nights or so. Hopefully he's getting some good sleep tonight because he's gotta get up at the ass-crack of dawn again tomorrow morning so that he's in town early enough for us to make the trek to BFE Decatur for the 2nd round of basketball playoffs.
I don't think I'll be yelling too much tomorrow night because I can barely open my mouth right now. I had that wisdom tooth taken out today and it HURTS! To top it off, I'm still not feeling great since having severe nausea on Monday and Tuesday, but thankfully I've still got plenty of the zofran to help.
My new bed is being delivered on Tuesday and I'm really excited! We've been so lucky with our bedroom furniture. We originally just had a dresser and two nightstands (that were Craig and his ex-wife's) but for some reason Craig gave one of the nightstands away right before we moved in together, so that left just the dresser and one nightstand. We decided to make our "office" furniture match because when we bought this house it was a VERY tall order to fill this bedroom with furniture because it's EXTREMELY large. (We have a king size bed, two dressers, two nightstands, a HUGE desk, a little 3 drawer cabinet thing that the printer sits on, a lateral file, cedar chest, a bookcase AND a big 32' tv in here. And we've still got plenty of room! (all the office furniture is the same brand and style- purchased together) So I've been looking for a headboard-footboard for our bed that would somehow match all of this and until now I hadn't found one. Then about three weeks ago I found it! I'm really excited to put it in here!
And now, I'm going to bed. Night-night!
