What A Weekend!
This past weekend was phenomenal!!! I can't believe how much fun I had on a "golf" weekend.
We flew into Boston on Friday morning then drove into Providence, RI. I thought it would be a much further drive but it only took about an hour. There were five couples from the corporate office there; the CEO and his wife, the head of the DC's and his wife, the head of retail and his wife, Craig's boss and his wife and us. We stayed at a WONDERFUL bed and breakfast called the Sarah Kendall House. We had a room with a private bathroom but it was just outside our door. The CEO's room was right across from ours and I was terrified that I'd come out of the bathroom in my pj's with a towel wrapped around my head only to bump into Ben. Luckily, that didn't happen.
The ladies all spent LOTS of time shopping so I was VERY happy. Surprisingly, I didn't spend too much money. The restaraunts were magnificent, but there was just too much food.
we flew back home after the final round of golf on Tuesday after a staggering 3.5 hour delay AFTER we'd already gotten on the plane. I remember the plane pulling away from the gate but somewhere between the gate and takeoff I fell asleep. There was a terrible storm over the Ohio valley so we ended up flying to Floriday and hanging a right. I think we got home about midnight. Blech.
I have pictures but I'm too lazy to load them. My house is a pigstye but I guess I shouldn't have expected Austin to clean up HIS OWN MESS!!! Argh. He's driving me crazy!!
