They Offered WHAT?
Yesterday, after a day of shopping, I came home and noticed that my work comp company called. It was too late to call them back so I called them this morning when Austin, Ryan and I were headed out to the country club. My adjuster asked me to allow him time to say what he needed to, then I could ask questions or comment. As he was working his way through the numbers I sort of half- listened. Then, he got to the bottom line (that's all I cared about) and I damn near ran off the road. They are offering me 150% MORE than I was hoping for! How often does THAT happen?
I was hoping the settlement, after all the bills, would be somewhere near what the attorney suggested, but my attorney is evidentally having "issues" and I wasn't sure what would happen after I fired them. Had I known THIS would happen, I'd have fired him MUCH sooner!!
