vacation anyone?
There's a shitload of stuff on our plates for the next couple of weeks and I cant help but wonder how its all going to go down.
Monday and Tuesday, Ryan has to be in Denton at the University of North Texas for a position camp. This is really more for her to get a feel of how the coaching staff handles the players. Then, Friday-Sunday she has to be at Southern Miss for their Elite camp. They have also offered her a full ride, complete with aa $500/mo stipend (I think UNT's stipend is slightly less). She really likes the head coach there. When she talked to them last night, the coach told her that when she gets there she wants to play a game of HORSE with her. She said that if SHE wins, Ryan would commit right then and there.
Then, that following Monday we have a VERY big day with Austin. Then, Friday morning Craig and I fly to Rhode Island for 5 days. After THAT, Ryan has two tournaments back to back in Atlanta (putting us there for 8days), then a tournament in Houston and finishing up the summer in dallas. Then, it'll be just a few weeks until school starts. If she hasn't committed by then, she'll very quickly start her 5 official visits and then we'll be done, except for school basketball. ::sigh:: We've worked a long time for all of this and I'm very excited for her. Very excited
as for today, the a/c has crapped out again. The unit is only 5 years old but each year SOMETHING still goes wrong with it. The repairman has to climb into the attic to get to the whole thing and they can't come out until Monday afternoon. Thank God we've got a home warranty.
