Summertime
Today is the official first day of summer for Ryan and Kyra. Ryan came into my room and got in bed with me after Craig left for work. We talked for about 45 minutes and ended up laughing our asses off before we fell back to sleep around 6:45. That's pretty much the way it's expected to go for the entire summer, at least on days that we'll be home and not traveling. Hopefully we'll be skipping the donuts in the future... but they were sure good this morning.
I guess we're sending Kyra to California for the summer so she can spend time with Craig's parents and his sister's kids. Plus, that would save her the agony of traveling with us since she can't stand it most of the time.
Ryan has narrowed down her college choices to three. But when you add in the recent interest from TCU it re-complicates things. I wouldn't hate seeing her there. It's close and theyre in a decent conference. We shall see!
