She's Not Gonna Like It
It may seem petty to alot of people but to Ryan, it's not such a small thing. Her letter jacket is VERY crowded and she had specific requests regarding her new patches and where to put them. The place that does it didn't follow her instructions at all.
It all started back in 2005 when she made Varsity for volleyball, basketball AND track as a Freshman. We really had no idea she'd win so many awards, so we put her graduating year on the "basketball" sleeve and the Eagle patch on the "volleyball" sleeve (good thing she has long arms!)...

... leaving only the back, under her nickname, for track. If we had left off those two patches (which EVERYONE puts on their jacket) we'd probably sneak in under the wire and not crowd the jacket.
Then, in November when I went to order her patches from last year, her Sophomore year (for basketball and track- I'd already gotten her volleyball patches earlier in the year). Her sleeves already had four patches on each side and had two track patches on the back. Well, she needed her All District patches from last year and her All Region Team and Regional Semifinalist patches for basketball and the District Champ patch, New CHS record patch and her State patch from track. (The State patch is BY FAR the most important to her because you only get that if you compete in the State meet... she took 4th. I'd say making the All Region team for basketball this year would come in 2nd). They needed to be done a certain way in order to be able to get her track patches for this (her junior) year and any patches she earns next year on the jacket.
This is how it ended up.

So while it looks ok to me, she's not going to like it at all. But, too bad. It is what it is. I'm very proud of her accomplishments (they've earned her a college scholarship!) and I'm glad that we've put them on her jacket.
Now, we just need her to decide where she's going and commit!!
