I'm Finally Finished
Craig and I started remodeling the master bedroom and bathroom in June. It was a major undertaking. Horendous doesn't quite cover what we went through. The bathroom had a corner shower but I wanted a tub AND shower so the whole thing had to be ripped out. We also were having the carpet taken out and laminate (wood) flooring put in but they couldn't do that until the bathroom was finished and the guy doing the bathroom took for-FUCKING-ever.
He finally got the crap done and then the guys got the floor done. Well, by that time Craig and I were just overwhelmed because we were also doing the kids' bedroom floors (by ourselves) so we had pretty much stopped doing the stuff in our rooms to finish the kids' rooms. Long story (not so) short, I finally finished my bedroom today and the last detail that needs to be done is to hang the new picture in the living room. Maybe I'll take pictures and post them. Maybe not. It's not that big of a deal, really.
Tomorrow (today) we're going to Austin to watch Niqky play. She's on the basketball team for the Univeristy of Texas at Austin. Ryan played on her team the last two years as well as with her sister, Destini Hughes. Destini is one of the top recruits for the class of 2008. She's pretty much able to write her own ticket and go where ever she wants. EVERYbody wants her. She's such a good kid!!
Anyway, Destini is going with us tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to that. I really enjoy her company. I'm also looking forward to seeing Niqky after the game. We'll be in Craig's company suite, but Destini also has tickets right behind the bench so they'll be able to go down and sit there if they want. I don't care either way I'm just looking forward to having a good time tomorrow.
Comments
So I had to visit after you Monday morning comment. Since I always read the older posts first, I am wondering what I will encounter next.
How did you do the floors? What did you use? Was it hard? I want to rip out our built in stove and replace it with the new one in the basement from the other house. That conviently means new floor in the kitchen but I am afraid it might be too hard.
