Clearer Perspectives

I woke up this morning feeling much better than I had since last Thursday afternoon when Ryan got her reportcard. The school district is looking into the matter of the grade now and I suspect that they waited until the window of eligibility ended so that there was NO WAY anyone could say he grade was changed so that she can continue to play. Now that the window has passed, I actually like that idea better because I don't ever want that hanging over her head.

So, today we go back to remembering that school is not about sports. We never forgot that but when we felt they took sports from her unjustly it sure must seem that way. Oh well. I've never been accused of being overly rational. That's my husband's job, not mine. He's rather good at it, too (alright, until THIS!).

This weekend is one I'm particularly looking forward to. We're going to start getting stuff packed up and out of our house. We're just going to put some things from the garage and the closets into a storage unit so the house will be less cluttered while we're getting things done. The garage is Craig's job. I don't go out there. This ought to get interesting. NO telling what I'm going to find.
