Sleepless In... Crowley
Okay, so it's not quite a movie title, but it's quite dramatic around our house. You can cut the tension with a knife though for some strange reason everyone is being SO nice to each other and getting along. It's really great to see.
We had the meeting yesterday with Ryan's teacher, the head of the English dept, and the assistant principal and I THINK we made enough points and the teacher made enough errors in grading that this could be over turned but by no means do I think this is a done deal. I do, however, believe the teacher is in some hot water for how she has acted (not to mention her lack of effort in teaching class this past 7 weeks).
The woman actuall admitted that she worked on stuff for a class she was taking at night instead of teaching the kids. She admitted to not reviewing them for their final exam. She admitted to not contacting us when it becam apparent that Ryan was really struggling in her class. She admitted to doing nothing to help Ryan when it became apparent that Ryan was struggling her her class. She admitted to telling Ryan she could have extra time to do some work then when Ryan DID turn it in she gave her a zero for it. THe list just goes on and on. But the fact remains that they are in control of this situation, not us and that is a feeling I can't stand. It drives me nuts.
So tonight could be Ryan's last basketball game for three weeks. It just makes me sick. Ryan is a wreck, but this will be a good lesson for her in the long run no matter how it turns out. Soooooooo, we're supposed to get an answer sometime today. No clue when, just sometime today. Sometime today. Somtime to-fucking-day. I'm never going to make it.

Any word yet? I really hope they make ammends and correct their screw ups.
