KG's Hideaway

My brand-spanking new niece!!! This was taken while they were still stitching my sister up. My sister was too embarassed to ask the doc for that "extra stitch" so I did it for her. I must say it was quite surreal talking to an almost stranger about my sister's snatch. Actually, talking to anyone about her snatch is really too much! LOL

God, just looking at this picture is hideous. It's obvious how stressful it was just by looking at the picture. I look like shit, but I don't care.

I was my sister's labor "coach" and was in the delivery room for the birth. My mother finally got there about 30 minutes before she was born. She was born naturally and I've got a WHOLE bunch of pics to prove it. My camera was snapping from the second she crowned. I even have the strangest looking picture of just her head once it was out.

I stayed at the hospital with my sister from the time I took her to the hospital until last night. They were discharged about two hours ago and are finally home, resting comfortably.

Anyway, she's perfect. Other than my sister, I was the only person allowed to go and get her from the nursery so I spent almost all my time with the baby. I've changed all of her diapers since my sister was scared to, if you can believe that, but she finally started changing them last night. As I said... she's perfect and I'm already over the moon about her.

However, I'm having "issues" today so I'm going back to bed.
