God, I've got soooo much to do and not much time to get it done. Craig and I leave for Phoenix tomorrow morning. We land around 1pm and will head directly to the closes In-N-Out for the best burger in the world, then head over to our swanky hotel downtown. We were going to take Roger and his gf to dinner but he called Craig today and invited them to go to the Sun's basketball game against Golden State, so that's where we're headed. I'm not a fan of either team but anytime we get a chance to watch a pro game of any kind we usually take it. It will be in one of the boxes, so the food should be fantastic. We don't want to make it too late of a night because we'll need to get up fairly early to get to the speedway on Sunday for the race (will probably stop at In-N-Out again).

I haven't been to a race at the Phoenix before so I'm pretty excited. Our pit passes have to be picked up that morning (I'm assuming to make it harder to counterfeit them) so that sucks, but it's worth it. I've been on pit road for a number of races but it's always exciting... especially if you have hot passes.

We come back Monday night, then leave again at noon on Wednesday to go to Austin for Ryan's basketball tournament. Her team took second last year but I don't hold out that much hope for this year. She was in the paper yesterday for being high scorer in her game on Tuesday. He also had 7 steals in the game. That's high, even for a point guard, but for a center it's HUGE. Her game seems much stronger this year even though she's only 12 weeks post op from foot surgery. Keep your fingers crossed that he rluck holds.

Austin is home for the weekend and Amanda is with him. They're back together and they both seem happy about it. I'm letting him take my truck back to Tarleton with him on Sunday so that he can bring back some of his stuff when he has to come BACK on Wednesday (so he can stay with Kyra while Ryan, Craig and I are in Austin). I'm a little bummed out because I don't like driving anything but my truck. Not Craig's car, and not Austin's. His car is nice, don't get me wrong... even with the dent on the roof of the car (not the hood, the roof... from a yield sign coming through the sunroof) but I don't like being that low to the ground. It just scares the shit out of me for some reason.

We've "adopted" our 2nd American Soldier deployed to Iraq. She's a Marine and her name is Audrey. She's only 22, is married and has a 19 month old daughter. It was bad enough that she was deployed and taken away from her daughter and such a young age but she just received papers that her husband is divorcing her! What a PRICK! To top it off, he is avoiding taking her phone calls and when he DOES answer the phone, she asks him to put the phone near their daughter's ear so she can hear her mommy's voice and that bastard puts her off claiming she's asleep or she's sick, or any number of excuses! I swear, the government should do more to protect these soldiers while they are FIGHTING A WAR! Don't get me wrong, if these selfish bastards (or bitches) want a divorce while their spouse is deployed, then they should be able to get it (thought I would never be able to live with myself if I did that) but the government should bifricate the case so that the divorce is one matter and the custody can be settled once the soldier returns. I think it would be great to re-institute the draft for people like him. (NOTE: I AM BEING SARCASTIC HERE! I DO NOT ADVOCATE THE DRAFT!)

That's all for now. I've got to get moving. Ryan's got a game in Mansfield tonight and I still have to buy some grub for the kids to eat while we're gone, get our bedroom clean and run some miscillaneious errands. Ciao!!!
