Well, for the naysayers out there who said it couldn't possibly get worse... it has. I'm not sure how far I've made it telling the story of our last few weeks, so I'll skim the surface of the past few weeks then update.
1) Austin taken to ER about 4 weeks ago with suspected hand fractures. No fractures noted in XRays.
2) Austin's pain level increased within a week, so we went to orthopedic surgeon who rushed himn into surgery with compartment syndrome. Lovely.
3) Last Monday- Ryan told by orthopedic surgeon that she needs to have foot surgery, but it can wait until the end of July so that she can still play in the Atlanta and New Orleans tournaments.
4) Last Wednesday- Ryan rushed to ER unable to breathe at basketball practice. Spent most of night getting breathing treatments and steriods, but aside from a sore chest from struggling to breathe, she's fine.
THAT BRINGS US TO THIS MORNING.................
First, let me say that I've been in bed, sick as a dog, since Thursday of last week. Haven't been out of bed for more than about 10 minutes at a time since then, but started feeling a little bit better last night. I've got a billion things to get done because on Thursday, Kyra leaves to spend a month in California and on Friday, Craig, Ryan and I leave for Atlanta for 8 days. Lots to do, not much time to get in done.
So Craig leaves for work this morning... in his new car, and promptly gets rear-ended. The car isn't too bad, but his back is killing him. When he was hit from behind, it pushed him into a car in front of him so he got the double whammy. He's in alot of pain and I'm a little worried about him. Poor guy... stuck with us, he doesn't have a chance! LOL kdgr
